Hell on earth!
Why is this happening? I am trying to understand, but...........
Is God testing our faith? Is He punishing us for the mistakes of the past, for the ones of the present? But are children guilty? Should they suffer?
Romania is submerged......Romania is 75% under water. 75% !!!!!!!!
And our president says that this is a rainy season and we should expect things like that until September. Floods like this haven't happend in Romania in 500 years!!!!!
I am amazed by this attitude, by the Government's attitude. They act as if things are not actually very bad, like everything is going to be solved within a few weeks and we will forget that it ever happened!
I get shivers every time I watch the news. My mom is crying and I can barely stop my tears.
The press says that 75% of Romania has been affected by the floods. The president talks about 1%. What is that? What should I believe? Maybe I just got it wrong....maybe they were talking about different things.
The Government doesn't seem very worried about the situation. Until this moment 20 people are reported dead. Many are still missing, 12.000 people have been evacuated, thousands of houses have been destroyed. I have never seen anything like this. Houses submerged, villages erased from the face of the earth, water 4-5 meters high(13ft? I guees).
But the Government is concerned mainly with ellections. That is what they are presently focused on !!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't care about the human lives, the suffering, the pain, the fact that those people have lost everthing they worked their whole lives for. They have nothing. Some old people refused to leave their houses. Somehow I can understand them.
Angels from the sky........................I call them angels, because they have risked their lives to save others. There was no other way to save people. The curents were too strong to come by boat, the roads had disappeared, so the only way left to save them was by air. Rescue helicopters flew for hours and the army proved once again that they can be relied on. Angels!

That's terrible.
I think something *is* going on. About a month ago, California had four sizeable earthquakes in four days. That NEVER happens. Usually we have one earthquake every several years. One night we even had a tsunami warning.
Something is definitely going on.

Guys, you should see the Romanian press. Hell on earth, exactly what I was saying! They say that the climate has changed and it will change and because of the greenhouse effect things are going to get worse. I have read that there are fears of the ocean rising by 7 meters. That is enormous.We have had tornados here in Romania. 7 in the last 2 years. These types of phenomenons don't happen here. You should see the kind of storms we have had lately. It is frightening.
